Bamboo In UK Newspaper As Artist To Watch Out For In 2013

With his 25flow video dropping soon, Bamboo clearly meant business when he touched down a couple of months ago.
The rapper who is often referred to as one of Kenya's finest MC's was recently declared in a U.K newspaper as one of the artists to watch pit for in 2013.
Speaking to him on phone, Bamboo did not seem surprised and completely agrees with the article saying he has way more to offer than we think.
The piece also talked about other 12 artists to watch out for in Africa including Nigeria's Tiwa Savage and D' banj.
One thing i do believe is that Bamboo is lyrically talented so yes, this might be a big year for his career. This is exactly what the article said;
"Not only did the documentary Hip Hop Colony draw the curtains back on Kenya's younger Hip-hop scene,it set the spotlight squarely on Simon Kimani aka Bamboo.
Bamboo was the Kenyan hip-hop artist unanimously deemed most likely to make it internationally. But his mixtape, a directionless blend of euro-pop and Southern rap beats, fell dismally short of expectation.
Occasionally, the odd track surfaces to offer glimpses of what Bamboo the beast of old is capable of, but not big or often enough.
Then there's the stint writing for Akon's Konvict Records, which may or may not turn into something. Either way, Bamboo is back in Kenya now and if his new Friday mixtape series means that there's still some hunger left in him, then now is the time to drop that album and seize the moment before it finally fades for good."
